Cranes

Since the late 1930’s, the engineers behind Vigo Engineering have been designing & building industrial cranes. What began as a design & build crane business exclusively for the coal mine industry developed into custom cranes for a wide variety of customers, including steel plants, aluminum mills, plastics, tool & die shops, pipe shops, locomotive repair facilities, railcar manufacturers, concrete yards, Naval shipyards and military bases.

From light ergonomic cranes, to medium capacity cranes to portal truss cranes up to nearly 250 foot span, any crane fits our interest. Vigo Engineering is here to tackle your project. Capabilities are far reaching….including box girder cranes in torsion or center compression flange designs, special end trucks, bogey designs, electrical and mechanical designs, upgrades, modernizations, and built-up hoists. Vigo Engineering is a name you can trust.
